Suvorov Award 2017 is coming!

More than 50 innovative entrepreneurs, researchers, inventors and high-tech companies applied this year to participate in the most well-known and honourable innovative award between Switzerland and Russia.

We are ready to share the details about the upcoming event, which will take place in Moscow on November 13th.

The Prize

The Jury will choose three winners. The First Prize receiving RUB 2 000 000 for one year. The second Prize receiving RUB 500 000 for two years.

Aim and mission of the Event : The Suvorov Prize is to encourage young researchers and inventors to present creative projects on an international platform and to support the countries' economies, improving both the human and business relations between Switzerland and the Russian Federation.
Guest: more than 200 senior managers and board members, entrepreneurs, investors, politicians, scientists from Switzerland and Russia, a delegation of deputies of the Swiss Parliament.

Welcoming speech: Yves Rossier, the new Ambassador of Switzerland in Moscow.
Introduction: Sergei Glazyev, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow
Key speakers: Soren Fog, founder of the Swiss Association of Blockbuster and Crypto-Currency. Sergey Gorkov, Chairman of Vnesheconombank (tbc.)
Theme of the ceremony: The potential for the development of block technologies and their implementation in the real sectors of the economy and state authorities.

Switzerland is a world banking hub, and at the same time it becomes the global center of blockchain initiatives.

On November 14th at 18:30 we will discuss future implementations of
blockchain solutions in banking and finance industry and listen to the experts' opinions and insights. Let's explore if blockchain technology and cryptocurrency can replace national monies, conventional financial intermediation, and even 'puts a question mark on the fractional banking model we know today.

"Blockchain: The New Oil of Russia"
In September 2017, representatives of the Russian government, industry, financial institutions and startups gathered together to discuss the future of blockchain development and implementation in the economy and public sector at the "Blockchain: The New Oil of Russia" conference in Tatarstan.

A swiss delegation at the conference was headed by Søren Fog, the co-founder of the Crypto Valley Association (CVA) and founder of iprotus.
He presented to the participants the advantages of Swiss infrastructure for the implementation of blockchain-based solutions and execution of ICOs.

During the conference, VEB, Bank of Development (the biggest Russian institute which coordinates developing programs) and Søren Fog agreed to collaborate on implementation of pilot blockchain-based projects in Russian Federation, and discussed the creation of a joint Swiss-Russian Center of Competences in Blockchain.

The board member of INNOVARE Nelli Orlova also participated in the conference in Kazan and agreed for close collaboration within new initiative. We'll keep you informed about the next steps and pilot projects!
On the 2nd day it will be the startup Pitching Battle!

In October 24-25th Bern will host this 2-day event, which represents a great opportunity to meet with partners, experts, supporters, corporates and investors.
